Top Shelf Farm offers English horseback riding lessons for kids and adults, beginners through advanced, on your horse or one of our lease horses.  We offer private and group horse riding lessons for all skill levels and ages.  All of our lease horses are either past or current show horses and are trained to accommodate different skill levels of riders.

At Top Shelf Farm, our goal is to create a conscientious and safe rider.  Our beginner riding lessons are focused on safety and horsemanship, all while having fun.  We encourage our students to start in private lessons so we can place them into an appropriate group lesson.  Beginner lessons will start with the basics, from learning how to properly groom and tack your horse, leading your horse around the barn and learning the proper way to stop and steer your horse.

Top Shelf Farm also offers advanced lessons for our riders who are involved in the show circuit, placing emphasis on the techniques necessary to be competitive in the show ring.  Liz recognizes that every client has specific needs, ambitions and abilities and works to map out the most effective path for success.
